Extremely Rare Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Art Deco Covered Bowl 935

This is an extremely rare sterling silver Art Deco Georg Jensen covered bowl, design #935 by Jorgen Jensen. We have never seen this design before, this may even be the only one ever made! An elegant shaped bowl stands on a foot, the low stem decorated with a linear pattern. The lid is stepped, the outer rim decorated with the same linear pattern. A gorgeous Art Deco pelican finial stands on a raised disc, the linear pattern is again repeated around the edge.

Dimensions: The bowl measures 9 1/4″ (23.5cm) in height to the top of the pelican, diameter at widest point 9 1/4″ (23.5 cm). Weighs 55.73oz (1,580g).

Hallmarks: With vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1925-1932.
