Extremely Rare Georg Jensen Nanna Ditzel Gold Cuff 375

This is an extremely rare 18kt gold Georg Jensen hinged cuff in original box, design #375 by Nanna and Jorgen Ditzel from circa 1960. Extremely rare to see this design in gold.
This piece has an amazing opening mechanism, where the little gold button, which is a feature of the design is also the release for the lock.
The cuff is oval in shape, the button and widest part of the cuff sits on the outside of the wrist. The cuff is totally handmade and hollow,
which is extremely difficult to make and reduces weight to make the piece comfortable to wear.
Internal dimensions are 2 1/4″ x 1 7/8″ (5.9cm x 4.7cm). The cuff at the narrowest part is 1″ across, at the widest wedge-shaped section 2″ (2.6cm, 5.2cm). Weighs 4.5oz (128g).
Marked: “750 GEORG JENSEN 18k 375” (embossed). Georg Jensen changed their numbering system sometime in the 1960’s-1970’s, this piece is numbered using the old system, indicating the piece is early.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
