Extra-Large Georg Jensen Cosmos Tray 251A by Johan Rohde in Original Box

An extra-large sterling silver Georg Jensen tray with ebony handles, design #251A by Johan Rohde from circa 1917, in an original Georg Jensen fitted mahogany box. The hammered surface on this tray is like new, the play of light on the hammering brings the piece to life!
This tray is often used together with the “Cosmos” tea/coffee service #45, as they are a very good match.

Dimensions:  27 1/4″ in length including the handles x 18 3/4″ (69.2cm x 47.5cm). Weight: Gross weight including handles 156.3oz (4,430g).

Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmark and date code V10 for 1995.
