Evald Nielsen Sterling Silver Mokka set

An early Danish 830 sterling silver three piece Mokka or coffee set by silversmith Evald Nielsen. An enormous amount of handcraftsmanship is visible on this service. The pot has a lidded hinged lid, ebony top and there are two ivory isolators on the handle to prevent the handle from getting hot. The top of the handle is mounted to the pot by decorative floral beads. The same detail and Art Nouveau design is also applied on the lidded sugar and creamer. This very early set would have been completed handcrafted by a very seasoned silversmith.
