Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Goblet 532B by Harald Nielsen

A Medium sterling silver Georg Jensen Art Deco goblet, design #532B by Harald Nielsen from 1928. Simple and elegant Art Deco design from the designer of the Pyramid silverware pattern. There are several sizes of goblet made in this design, this is the medium size.  A round base transitioning into a gracefully curved six branched center stem, supported by silver beads and two accentuating silver rings. The medium, hand-hammered cup is minimalist in decoration, allowing the texture of the hammer marks to shine as a defining feature of the design.
