Early Vintage Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Melon Teapot 159

A sterling silver Georg Jensen teapot with ebony handle, design #159 by Georg Jensen from circa 1912, this design often referred to as “Melon”. This teapot has an inbuilt strainer at the spout.

Dimensions: Measures 6 1/4″ in height, approximate diameter including the handle 10″ (25cm). Holds circa 1.2 liter (40.5 oz.).

Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from the 1920s.
