Early Rare Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Water Pitcher 460

An important large vintage Georg Jensen sterling silver water pitcher with ebony handle #460a, designed by Georg Jensen in 1926. This was a late design by Georg Jensen while he was living in Paris. A rather modern form for Jensen, the only ornamentation is the two leaf and berry clusters near the handle and the round beads at the base. A transition design from art nouveau to art deco at the end of Jensen’s career.
