Early Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Pyramid Coffee Set 600A
A three-piece Georg Jensen sterling silver Pyramid coffee service with ebony handles, design #600A by Harald Nielsen from 1930. This service matches the Pyramid silverware pattern designed in 1926. The Pyramid pattern was designed in the wake of the discovery of Tutankhamen’s tomb by Howard Carter in 1922. The many wondrous finds in the untouched tomb set off a wave of Egyptomania.
