Early Georg Jensen “Melon” Oval Centerpiece 189

A large early Georg Jensen sterling silver centerpiece bowl, design #189 from 1914 by Georg Jensen, this design often called “Melon”.  This piece has Georg Jensen hallmarks but no design number, presumably one of the first pieces made.

Dimensions: Measures 5 1/4″ in height x 13″ x 10 1/2″ (13.5cm x 33cm x 26.6cm). Weight: 57.14oz (1,620g).
