Danish Sterling Silver Pair of Large Deco Vases

A matching pair of early Large Danish sterling silver Art Deco vases. These rare, handcrafted treasures originate from Denmark, with one crafted in 1928 and the other in 1933. Each vase features a distinctive eight-sided edge that transitions seamlessly into a gracefully rounded foot, showcasing the sleek, geometric shape known with the Art Deco movement. The base is intricate round foot with a ring Deco-inspired design. The design is complete with an elegantly applied rim at the top.

  • Rim diameter: 5 inches (14cm).

Hallmarks: One with a 1928 date stamp, the other a 1933 date stamp with Danish silver three tower stamp, CMC (Carl Michael Cohr) and assay stamp CFH.

These vases are exceptionally rare and beautifully preserved, standing as enduring testaments to the artistry and innovation of their era. They make an extraordinary addition to any discerning collection.
