Danish Art Nouveau Silver Serving Spoon

A vintage Danish silver serving spoon with wooden finial, by C. C. Christensen (active 1893-1937) of Randers, Denmark. A beautifully hand-hammered silver spoon, the handle is hollow, with applied Art Nouveau decoration.

Dimensions: Measures 10 3/8″ (26.6cm) in length. Gross weight including the finial 3.42oz (97g).

Hallmarks: With makers mark for C. C. Christensen and Danish assay marks for 1927. Also marked “DA”, for Landsforening Dansk Arbejde (National Federation Danish Work), a private organization formed in 1908 to support and market Danish produced wares at home and abroad.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
