Danish 830 Silver Censer Burner with Amber Stone 1936
An early 830 sterling silver rare censer which is an incense burner, perfume burner or pastille burner from 1936, crafted by Danish silversmith Emil Snedker (1918–1937). This exceptionally heavy, handcrafted piece demonstrates remarkable craftsmanship and remains in excellent condition, having been used only a few times.
The design features a finely made oval holder with a removable oval lid, pierced with small holes to allow incense fumes to escape. Four elegant scroll-shaped feet connect the oval body to a sturdy square base, giving the piece both stability and decorative appeal. The oval burner is further enhanced with an amber disc stone, adding warmth and character to the design.
The quality and workmanship of this handcrafted piece are comparable to the standards seen in works by renowned Danish silversmiths such as Georg Jensen or Hans Hansen.
Overall, the piece remains in very good condition with only minimal signs of light use.
