Complete Vintage Georg Jensen Pyramid Sterling Silverware Service

This is a Georg Jensen silverware service in the Pyramid pattern, design #15 by Harald Nielsen from 1926. The Pyramid pattern was designed in the wake of the discovery of Tutankhamen’s tomb by Howard Carter in 1922. The many wondrous finds in the untouched tomb set off a wave of Egyptomania. This service comprises 12 settings, each setting of 9 pieces plus many serving pieces.

• 12 dinner spoons #011 (7 3/8″, 18.6cm)

• 12 luncheon knives, long handle #024 (8 1/4″, 20.8cm) stainless steel blades
• 12 dessert spoons #021 (6 1/2″, 16.5cm)
• 12 pastry forks #043 (5 1/2″m 14cm)
• 12 fruit knives #072 (6 1/2″, 16.5cm) stainless steel blades
• 12 teaspoons #033 (4 6/8″, 12cm).
