Complete Georg Jensen Akkeleje Sterling Silverware Set

An early Georg Jensen silverware service in the Akkeleje pattern, design #77 by Georg Jensen from 1918. Its unusual to find a large complete set in this pattern, it is more unusual that nearly all the pieces were bought and are from the same period, the late 1920s – early 1930s, the set was later supplemented with a few pieces from 1933-.

The set is:

12 dinner forks (7 5/8″: 19.7cm)

12 dinner knives (9 7/8″: 25cm) stainless steel blades

12 table spoons (8″: 20.2cm)

12 luncheon forks (6 3/4″: 17.2cm)

12 luncheon knives (8 1/8″: 20.5cm) stainless steel blades

12 dessert spoons (6 3/4″: 17.2cm)

12 pastry forks (5 5/8″: 14.2cm)

12 coffee spoons (4 1/2″: 11.6cm)

1 serving spoon, hollow handle (8 3/8″: 21cm)

1 two piece salad serving set (7 3/4″: 19.5cm) silver handles and horn fork/spoon. The spoon has some damage to the back.

1 serving spoon (7 5/8″: 19.2cm)

1 gravy ladle (7 1/2″: 19cm)

4 cold cuts forks (6 1/8″: 15.5cm)

1 condiment spoon (6 1/4″: 16cm)

2 large salt spoons (3 1/4″: 8cm)

108 pieces in total.

Hallmarks: With Georg Jensen hallmarks and Danish assay hallmarks from 1926-1934 and a few with hallmarks from 1933 and after. A mixture of 925s and 830s.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
