Danish Just Andersen Sterling Silver Fish Serving Set

An early silver Ib Just Andersen large fish serving set, which belonged to the famous Danish architect Albert Oppenheim (1879-1956) and his wife Ellen. The pieces are extremely heavy and made by hand and are of excellent quality.

The finials are mermaids on simple shafts with a pair of dolphins extending to a hand cut-out and chased spoon and fork. Both pieces have shell and floral motifs.

Dimensions: Spoon: Length: 11″ (27.8cm), Width: 2 3/4″ (6.8cm); fork: Length: (26.8cm)10 1/2″, width 2 3/4″ (6.8cm). Total Weight: 11.1oz (315g).

Hallmarks: “Just A 830s”. These pieces are lightly hand engraved under the finial with the monogram “EA” for Ellen & Albert Oppenheim.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
