Rare Kay Bojesen Sterling Silver Ice Pail on Fitted Teak Stand

A rare Kay Bojesen sterling silver ice pail which fits into a teak stand, together with Grand Prix ladle. The the base and handle of the ice pail are made of teak.

Ice pail: 6 1/4″ in height, diameter 5 1/2″ (15.5cm, 14cm).

Ladle: Length 7 1/2″ (19cm).

Teak wood base: 8″ (20.3cm) in diameter.

Weight excluding wooden base 25.04oz (710g).

Illustrated on page 54 of Lars Hedebo Olsen’s book “Linjen Skal Smile” (The Line Should Smile), about Kay Bojesen and his works.

Hallmarks: Marked underneath with Kay Bojesen’s buoy symbol and “925S Denmark”: The ladle is marked with the buoy symbol and “925S KBS”.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
