Pair of Vintage Mid-Century Sterling Kay Fisker Pitchers

This is a pair of A. Michelsen sterling silver pitchers designed by Kay Fisker in 1935, from a private estate in London. Fisker designed two sizes of this pitcher, both are represented here and sold together. This design has been at the forefront and inspiration for many designs that followed.

  • The larger pitcher is 10 1/2″ in height and 6 3/4″ across at the widest point (26.5cm, 17cm).
  • This pitcher holds holds circa 50oz (1.5 liters).
  • The smaller pitcher is 9″ in height and 6″ across at the widest point (23cm, 15cm).
  • This pitcher holds circa 33.8oz (1 liter).
  • Hallmarks: Both pieces marked with A. Michelsen hallmarks and date codes. The smaller pitcher has date code H9 = 1958, the larger pitcher has date code Y9 = 1974.
