A Pair of Rare Vintage Georg Jensen Grapes Double Salt Cellars 561

This is a seldom seen pair of sterling silver Georg Jensen Grapes double salt cellars with blue enamel lining and salt spoons, design #561 by Georg Jensen from 1925. This is one of Georg Jensen’s later designs, from a brief period in 1925-1926 when he lived in Paris. The salt cellars are removable for easier cleaning, very functional, and the enamel is undamaged. The salt spoons are Ornamental design #130, also by Georg Jensen.

Dimensions: The double salts cellar measure 5 3/8″ across x 2 1/2″ wide x 3 1/8″ height (14cm x 6.2cm x 8cm). The spoons measure 2 1/4″ (5.9cm) in length.

Hallmarks: Both pieces with matching vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1945-1977. All pieces are hallmarked, including the stands, the removable salt cellars and the spoons. The enamel is whole and undamaged.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
