A Pair of Large Georg Jensen Candelabra #383B

A pair of decorative Georg Jensen two-light candelabra #383B, designed in 1921 by Georg Jensen. As most of Georg Jensen’s designs these candelabra are in the Art Nouveau style with the characteristic ornamental curved lines, organic structures and decorative ornaments of flora.

The chaser works on all the floral pieces individually, and  applies soft lines and hammer marks to the silver to enhance the pattern. The amount of chasing hours on this piece is even greater than the time the silversmith uses to create them.
