A. Michelsen Sterling Silver Kay Fisker Pitcher

A vintage sterling silver pitcher designed by Kay Fisker in 1935, and produced by A. Michelsen, Copenhagen. There are two sizes of this pitcher, this is the smaller size. This design was a forerunner of the Mid-Century Danish design movement and an inspiration for many designs that followed.

• Dimensions: Measures 9 1/2″ (24cm) in height. This pitcher holds holds circa 33.8fl.oz (1 liter).
• Hallmarks: Marked underneath “A. Michelsen KAY FISKER Sterling Denmark”. The A. Michelsen hallmark is topped with a crown, denoting them as purveyors to the Royal Danish Court.
