A. Michelsen Royal Copenhagen Vase

Porcelain vase with hand painted maritime scene by Royal Copenhagen mounted with sterling silver decorative details of clouds, birds and seaweed by A. Michelsen.
The vase measures 7 1/4″ (18.3cm) in height.
The porcelain vase is marked underneath with Royal Copenhagen marks from 1889-1922.
The silver mountings are hallmarked “EA”, Three Towers hallmark for 1922, “925s”, “AM” hallmark topped with a crown, “22”, assay mark for Christian F Heise and “R”. The crown above the Michelsen logo marks that A. Michelsen were purveyors to the Royal Danish court.

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
