A Large Rare Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Tankard

A large Georg Jensen sterling silver tankard or “stein”, designed by Johan Rohde, a very similar design to #784 tankard.  A large conical shape body supported by four ball feet. A tapered hinged lid with a shell motif for opening. The thick handle with a typical Rohde scroll design. The inside is gilt to protect the silver as well as its contents.

Measurements: 8″ (20 cm) tall.

Weight: 37.9oz (1075g).

Liquid Volume: 54.1oz (1,6 liters).

All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
