Nordic/Ladby

This pattern was designed by Oscar Gundlach-Pedersen in 1937 and is extremely rare. Both the English name “Nordic” and the Danish name “Ladby” refer to the Viking inspired pattern. The Danish name “Ladby” refers to the only Viking ship burial in Denmark, found near the Danish town of Ladby in 1934.
