Margrethe
The Margrethe pattern of 1966 is a collaboration between Danish architects/designers Rigmor Andersen and Annelise Bjorner. Queen Margrethe of Denmark has a service in this pattern. The knives in this pattern were made in two versions, a classical knife design and a “pistol” version, where the handle is turned 90 degrees.
Art Deco, short for Arts Décoratifs, is an artistic design period that flourished between 1920 and 1939.
