Fuchsia/Klokke
Designed by Georg Jensen in 1906. Fuchsia features Art Nouveau floral decoration, that was so popular at that time, it is also a substantial cutlery in the hand. The Danish name is “Klokke”. This pattern was discontinued in the 1950s.
Art Deco, short for Arts Décoratifs, is an artistic design period that flourished between 1920 and 1939. The style was inspired by Constructivism, Cubism, Modernism, Bauhaus, Art Nouveau and Futurism. Art Deco pieces are characterized by bold colors, geometric shapes, and decadent details. The style carries an emphasis on elegance and function, without using historical references.
