Ole Hagen

Ole Jørgen Bartolin Hagen was born in the small Danish town of Lellinge. The son of an architect, Ole Hagen also studied architecture, though he did not graduate. He worked at his father's studio, becoming a partner, and also worked at The Danish Academy of Art's Architect School. He started his own design studio in the early 1950s, among his best known building projects is the Falkoner Center in Frederiksberg, Codan Hus in Copenhagen and the A. P. Moller HQ on Copenhagen Harbour. Hagen also designed several silver objects for A. Michelsen, who were purveyors of silver to the Royal Danish Court.
